In order to prevent the workers from falling down on some height or location, it’s necessary to fasten the safety belts. The requirements for using and maintaining are as follows:
Much attention should be paid to the safety belt. Numerous examples have proved that safety belt is of great importance. Accidents happen at the moment as the workers don’t want to fasten for trouble.
Before using, you need to check if there’s something wrong with the material, buckle and clamp ring. Wire rope with suitable strength or something else should be adopted if there is no fixed place for safety belt to hang on. Do not hang on the moving, sharp or weak objects. Avoid being knotted and keep the hook on the link ring. The bumper should be kept in good condition to prevent from wearing out.
High suspension point and low work point is a safety and rational way to reduce the actual impact distance when falling. On the contrary, low suspension point and high work point is very dangerous. The impact distance will increase and both the safety belt and worker will bear more impact load.
Do not piece out the safety belt. A buffer should be used if the length is over 3m. Check each part before, maintain and storage after. Do not remove any part of the helmet. Much attention should be paid to the sewing parts and hooks. Do not touch the high temperature, fire, acid, alkali or sharp objects. Avoid to be stored in the wet warehouse. Conduct a spot check after using for two years. Check the appearance frequently and replace it immediately if there’s any abnormal phenomenon. The sample should not be used again.
